What was the biggest achievement?
How do you resolve conflict?
How do you lead the team?
Went straight to on-site as I knew the hiring manager already. Had 3 separate interviews. Questions were fair and tested my knowledge and experience, as well as how I approached problem solving and if my morals and values aligned with Google’s. Smooth process overall

Question 1
How would I approach a coworker or boss who was being difficult and harassing everyone around them
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google (Sunnyvale, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Seems rather prescriptive and wanted answers provided in the way they asked in their interview prep package. Diversity of style didn't seem to be a focus. Also, was put through final rounds twice before I was told taat the hiring manager didn't feel she could recommend me to the hiring committee. One of the interviewers started the conversation about the many false positives and false negatives in their process. He also added that he didn't believe the process yielded the best candidates and refused to participate for a while, but then eventually was pressured to get involved again.
It was weird to have them typing and not looking at you most of the time, since they seem to have to submit the forms right after. It may have been better to have the session recorded and transcribed with the interviewee's consent.
