When did ghosting become acceptable in professional settings? HR conducts a screening, asks you to complete a questionnaire and/or prepare answers based on the hiring managers desired candidate qualifications but can’t take two minutes to send an update regarding whether or not you’re still being considered for a role? Even a canned variation of “Thanks but we’ve decided to pursue other applicants” is better than nothing. Sad to see basic courtesies being thrown out the window yet tolerated by organizational leadership.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Haemonetics (Charlotte, NC) in Aug 2025
Interview
I had a phone interview with a recruiter and then one with the hiring manager. My third interview I had to do a presentation on a product. I never heard back from the hiring manager even after 2 follow ups. The recruiter finally called me and told me I didn't get the position then quickly hung up.
Great interview process was able to get a response very quickly. Mostly behavioral questions and why I was interested working of Haemonetics and the Medtech Industry. Got a response relatively quickly and kept me up to date with all updates.
