Process started in one week, and hiring manager showed up interest after interview. 4 people involved during interview process ( Global Manager from HQ, Site Manager in Tijuana, HR Manager in Tijuana and Old Master Data )

I was interviewed by a hiring manager over the phone. I originally thought this was the first stage of the process, but it turned out that this was the only step. I was asked multiple questions about why I wanted to work there and to assess my personality and character. I think the main purpose of this interview was to assess if I would fit into the team because I already had an employee referral. The other interns had longer in-person interviews with other hiring managers. In all, the process was pleasant and quick!
