I applied through other source. I interviewed at Inmar (Dreamland, MI) in Aug 2025
Interview
This was the strangest interview process of my life. A VP reached out to me via LinkedIn to coordinate an interview. I then interviewed with their boss, the hiring manager, and another manager. I was told I was moving through to the culture interview no less than 3 times.
I felt outside of the loop as I never applied for the role I was interviewing for, and when I asked if I should do so, I was told to hold off for now on doing that.
Things went silent. I emailed the VP and hiring manager countless times. Nothing. I finally reached out via LinkedIn to the VP who said they did not get approval to hire for the role at that time and to sit tight.
Once the role was posted I reached out to the VP and applied same day to be more in the process. I had an interview with the hiring manager. It went well and things were again stated that I would be getting the culture interview. Then silence.
I reached out to the hiring manager, and I was told the role was not yet approved to hire yet. Strange.
I gave up. I was never contacted by an actual recruiter. Only the hiring management team. I was highly motivated to join Inmar and excited only to be let down time and time again.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Inmar
Interview
Pretty straightforward - if you're capable of doing the job you'll most likely go far in the interview process. Heavy preference is given to people with similar previous experience. I had a total of three interviews, One of which being the recruiter call.
Very organized and communication regarding opportunity you are interviewing for is good. There was about 1-2 weeks between interviews. I made it to the 3 interview before being notified they were pursuing other applicants.
