A week after applying a recruiter messaged me to schedule a screening. After this round I waited for two weeks and then the recruiter asked me to do a panel with several managers. One of the panelists was nice and seemed to know their stuff while the other seemed like they were waiting for retirement, very stuck in their ways and very waterfall in their approach. This other manager also made a critical comment suggesting I was a job hopper because I had one prior role on my resume that I left before the two year mark, even though I had other roles that I stayed at for several years. A few days after this panel I was asked to do another panel with some architects. Their questions weren't particularly hard though it seemed like the technologies used in Inmar are dated and the expectations these panelists had for the role were very different from those expressed by the panelists in the prior round. Later in the week the recruiter asked me to do a round with the head of engineering and made it seem like this was merely a final step before getting an offer. The engineering head round was similar to the round with the tech leads, including more discrepancies in the expectations for the job and more dated technologies. Two weeks after this round I got a rejection email stating they went with another candidate.

Question 1
Past projects, experience with data, how I handle conflicts
I applied online. I interviewed at Inmar in May 2025
Interview
Spoke with HR rep, they did not know much about the role.
Interviewed with the Hiring manger, barely asked me any questions. I thought that was questionable, but they still pushed me through to panel interview. I interviewed with panel after they rescheduled me twice. I was then scheduled to interview with VP. I had to rearrange my schedule multiple times to be able to interview with their team, but i feel as though they were not mindful of the inconvenience it causes the interviewee. Company seems disorganized.

Question 1
Why Inmar intelligence and what drives you to succeed in a new role
Quick and short phone call for screening. I only ended up completing one virtual video call interview with a small group from the leadership team for just about one hour.
