Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How is your background useful for this internship position?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at International Rescue Committee (Oakland, CA)
Interview
It was very easy and friendly. I only had only one phone interview then waited a week for my acceptance. then they did the background check then I immediately started my internship
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at International Rescue Committee (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jan 2015
Interview
I attended a volunteer orientation session, where they said to submit my resume via email if I were interested in an internship. I did so. Within a week I had an in-person interview with two potential supervisors. After my background check and everything went through, they basically offered me either of the two internships that we talked about. They were very kind, patient, and friendly. As nervous as I was, it was a good experience.
