Interview
The interview was targeted at the role I would have as an intern, and most of the questions were related to my computer skills. I was told I would be informed of the result within 2 days which I was. I had to pay for a background check after being offered the position.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at International Rescue Committee
Interview
I submitted a resume and cover letter through the organizational website, had a brief interview with an HR rep, then an interview with a panel of staff. Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional during the interviews, the negative experience rating is for how long this process took -for example I was told after the 2nd interview I would hear back the following week and wasn’t notified that they had moved forward with another candidate until over a month later. It is during COVID so I assume this is due to extenuating circumstances, but this still felt bad to not be updated on my application status for so long after completing 2 interviews.
