I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Nov 2017
Interview
I first met the HR head at the university in UK, talked to her about cyber security and software technologies. I then applied online attend phone intervjew and assessment centres
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan
Interview
I applied through a referral and was contacted for an in-house interview. The in-house interview consisted of three 30 minute interviews. The interviews were behavioral, technical, and a presentation. The behavioral was mostly team building/ teamwork scenarios. The technical consisted of basic web/mobile development knowledge and a little bit of code reading. The presentation was a pretty relaxed conversation about one of my projects. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic mobile/web development questions (mainly because I had experience in both)
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Glasgow, Escocia) in Nov 2017
Interview
The process started with a CV Screening and then straight to the final assessment centre in Glasgow.
There were a bunch of technical questions about data structures & a technical test. A group task and a final competency interview.
I had a bad experience, the interviewers I had were very tired and not passionate. During the competency interview my interviewer was yawning all the time.
Having interviewed in many different companies and even taken part in assessing for companies, the group exercise in my opinion was not appropriate for the time limit we were given to read all the information and analyse it properly in order to present.
