I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
Poorly conducted interview. I spent 5 weeks in the "pipeline" from the time of initial job application. I was recruited on campus recruit which led to phone screen with HR which led to phone call with Senior Manager which led to rejection email. The bizarre part was that in each one of my phone calls, no one knew anything about me or why I was being interviewed. It seems that HR had a recruiting quota to fill and were having a hard time filling it, so they threw in applicants (like myself) that they were not serious about hiring. The senior manager I spoke with specifically said that he had no idea why he was having to interview me. In addition, HR had me re-apply a second time to the same position. The whole process was highly convoluted and confusing with no transparency. I'm not sure why I was recruited in the first place or why they spent 5 weeks wasting my time.

Interview
Applied through campus career website, went to get to meet you dinner, then the interview. Overall a very timely process. They keep you up to date and keep you informed of where you are in the process,
