I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Baltimore, MD) in Dec 2012
Interview
Interviewed with a partner. Very conversational. Learned more about the position and the company its values. It was right before the Christmas school break so I did not hear back from them until mid-January when I called to enquire whether I had received an offer. And I had. There was just a little hold up on their end due to the holidays.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical behavioral questions. How do you deal with conflict, name a time...
Standard application process with the resume and cover letter, then couple of weeks later I got an appointment for the interview with the director, manager (people-manager-leader) and HR. Interview took place in Stuttgart where I wanted to work and lasted one hour. I like that there were no typical HR-Questions (e.g. about my strengths and weaknesses, etc.) Directly after the interview I got positive feedback and one week later job offer.

Question 1
Questions about previous internships, paper work and 75% of questions were dedicated to the company valuation theory (cost of capital, dcf, multiples, etc.)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2012
Interview
Not too bad. I did a phone interview and a follow up interview with the partner. Once I went through this initial round of interviews, I also did a round of in-office interviews where I was able meet with potential leaders on the team of the project where the need was.
