I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (New York, NY) in Sep 2015
Interview
Had an on-campus interview with a partner. I was informed about 2 or 3 weeks later that I had been offered an audit summer internship in New York. So I only had to go to their office to meet people and got to skip the 2nd interview.
The partner who interviewed me was really nice and laid back. I was more like a fun conversation than a serious interview.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapur)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
My interview process went smoothly and required little to no preparation. The questions were all general in nature and were just an overview of my resume. Very low stress interview process.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
