You just joined a large project in KPMG (suppose you are an employee in KPMG). You need to review many documents and prepare report for client. It is a large volume of project with a lot of detail, electronic record, also many different sections. You find there is high risk error. You will work with other 4 colleagues and need to report to senior manager, who is responsible to present to the client. What will you do in this situation?

Application, telephone interview, assessment centre, partner interview. The telephone interview was around 45 minutes and competency based with some basic commercial awareness questions. The assessment centre consisted of a timed written report, an e-tray exercise and two role plays, one with a client and one with your manager. There were also self review exercises after every task where you had 10 minutes to evaluate your performance.

Role play with a unsatisfied client, you have to run the meeting and get information out of the client whilst remaining professional
Completed online application form and was called late October for an early November assessment day. A few days before the assessment day there was a presentation which a told group of maybe 100 about the company and the different sectors then downstairs to talk to different people who worked there and for a drink. The interview process took about 3 hours. Started with a 30min business exercise consisting of 2 questions. Questions were:
1-What would you say are your main attributes and areas for development? How will these benefit KPMG? Please provide evidence/examples in your answer to support this.
2-Using a business/industry of your choice, describe how it is currently thriving despite the downturn in the economy. Give reasons why you feel it is being successful.
Then 2 interviews, one with a manager and one with a director. Both relaxed enough but the first had a lot of competency based questions that got quite detailed.
