Interview
Eerst een gesprek met HR en daarna op dezelfde dag een tweede gesprek met Partner over verleden en toekomstplannen van mij en KPMG in het algemeen. Uiteindelijk nog een derde gesprek met Business Director en daarna een aanbod gekregen.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied online and got the recruiter to schedule a interview. It was a horrible interview and a complete waste of time. The interviewer called 40 minutes later than the scheduled time. The role was a technology consulting one in Financial transformations. He only asked for my technical experience for 15 minutes and concluded that I had no consulting experience. There were no deep dive questions on architecture, strategy, implementation etc. All the while he only wanted to push me to some other department. The reason is that they do not have any AI based technical projects or even data engineering projects I think. KPMG is not a technology company, no wonder they are trying to get into it. If you are technical and love technology avoid this company.
