I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Denver, CO) in May 2016
Interview
Received a call on a Friday before a 3-day weekend to interview on Tuesday. Then received an email with a questionnaire to complete and return within 1 business day. Interviewed on Tuesday via video conference with 3 people -- 3 people who seemed inexperienced at interviewing and not at all happy to be there. None of them told me what their positions were, explained how their positions related to the open position, or elaborated on the position they were looking to fill. I waited at the reception desk for 15 minutes before leaving, being ignored by no fewer than 6 people in the office, because I wanted to get email addresses of the people I'd interviewed with to send thank-you emails. I finally gave up and left. The next day, I received an email thanking me for completing the questionnaire and telling me they would call me in for an interview if they felt I fit the position. Not sure anyone really knew what was going on. After a month, I finally emailed the person who sent me the questionnaire and asked if she knew what the status of the position was. She said she would forward to the hiring manager and get back to me. I did get a "no thank you" email within a couple of days.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview questions were typical and appropriate to the position: why Kaiser? Questions about management style, what kind of work environment you prefer, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (San Leandro, CA) in May 2012
Interview
Kaiser promotes within first. I applied, met with the manager/director for a panel interview and was offered position because of my Kaiser experience. The whole process takes about a month, Kaiser posts the vacant position, if an internal candidate is selected, they are typically help in their current role for 30 days, to allow time for backfill before moving onto the new role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Portland, OR) in Mar 2016
Interview
Interview process was wonderful with 2 managers in the department with questions and answers from both managers and from me. It was scheduled at a time that was convenient for me which I appreciated. It turned out to be an great experience and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
