The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente
Interview
Interview process was set up nicely with panel type interview. After the interview was over I was told that I did GREAT! And that I would also Definitely be hearing from them on Monday. Two weeks went by and I never got a call, only an email telling me someone else had got the job. Lesson learned-never get your hopes up when someone says they will call you.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
First the recruiter calls you for a Phone interview then schedules you to come for a panel interview.
The hiring manager said that there are other applicants and he will let me know their decision within 3 weeks.

Interview
Applied online.
First step was a phone interview with the hiring manager - was told about the position, asked why I was interested.
Second step was an in-person panel interview with the hiring manager and the team - introductions of everyone there, introduced myself, asked the usual interview questions. It was more conversational than a back-and-forth questioning.
Third step was an one-on-one interview with the direct report of the hiring manager - very casual, very laid-back. Spoke about my interests again and the layout of the department/team and what type of projects the team worked on.
