Received an email that they received so many applications that mine wasn't even looked at. Bittersweet I wasn't left in the dark and ghosted completely, but certainly not what you'd expect when they job posting is still live on their website.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Kaiser, CA)
Interview
The interview process was exceptionally smooth. I had the chance to meet one-on-one with my prospective supervisor, who was highly communicative and professional. The questions focused on my residency experiences relevant to the clinical role, my clinical interests, and my availability. Additionally, I received a comprehensive tour of the clinic and had the pleasure of meeting several of my future colleagues.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the questions I received:
What are my clinical interests in terms of working urgent care shifts in addition to regular morning and afternoon clinic shifts.
Panel with department supervisors and staff. Each ask a vignette/ question related to medical social work. Last question may have been where you see yourself in 5 years. There's also an opportunity to ask the panel questions at the end.
