I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA)
Interview
From hitting send on the application to starting my first day it took over 2.5 months, so be patient and don't get discouraged. Everyone I talked to was very nice. I had 3 interviews total (2 on the phone and 1 in person). First one was with a HR rep and next two with the hiring manager. Overall everyone really put me at ease so I could do my best in the interviews.

Question 1
The very first phone interview happened unscheduled. I got a call 2 weeks after the HR representative let me know they wanted to interview me. So as soon as they tell you they want to interview you, start preparing for that first call (it may be impromptu).
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Denver, CO) in Nov 2012
Interview
Recruiter contacted me and set up 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. Hiring manager was a total jerk. Job description didnt have anything to do with the actual job. Interview consisted of him telling me how stressed he was and how badly he needed a manager.

Question 1
I was told I was in the final 3 candidates and would be scheduled for that. Never heard from the company for about 3 months when I got an email saying I was not selected. Terrible hiring process.
I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
The whole process was very professional and cordial. I received a phone call to set up the interview which was confirmed by email. I was not kept waiting and the interviewers were very friendly. I received a personal call telling me that I was not going to be offered the position and was offered constructive feedback on my interview performance.
