The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente
Interview
The discussion was conducted remotely. The interviewer had clearly minimal knowledge of the role, how to effectively screen for the role, or even how to pronounce basic words related to software packages used when trying to describe the role. Fitment was established by a cursory resume review, and tee-ball style behavioral questions were posed. No technical questions were asked outside of establishing self-reported level of technical skill in various packages.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview itself was very pleasant. The person interviewing me was very nice and we had a great conversation, I thought it went perfectly. They just asked me basic behavioral questions and asked easy technical questions. I felt good after the interview. Where this process went negatively was everything else. The person interviewing me wasn't even supposed to be interviewing me for my position, the hiring/team manager didn't show up. Because of this, the interviewer couldn't tell me anything about the team because they didn't know anything about it. They told me that it was a slow process to go through interviews right now, so to reach back out in a week or two. I emailed the hiring manager who was supposed to interview me and no response, but hours after I emailed them I checked my portal to a rejection. Glad they did because I feel like working under this manager would've been a bad experience.
