They had a job fair. I applied online the day before and went to the fair the next day. I signed in and they interviewed me pretty quickly.
After I told them I had no experience, the interview quickly ended. This was for a very high end new hotel opening soon. The West Hollywood EDITION. So I get why they did not really like me. They did say that they wanted some new people so that 'bad habits' can be discouraged from people who have lots of experience in hotels.
Not sure what that meant. The interviewer seemed to be less prepared for the interview than I was I often times finished his sentences. He would forget words and I would help him remember. He even cursed saying 'we always check if the rooms are cleaned, whenever guests are staying, people half-a the cleaning' wow!
Otherwise polite interview. But I feel like if anything I was over qualified for the job I had previous cleaning experience due to restaurant experience. But when your interviewer is dumber than you they can't really appreciate you....sad.
