I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley in Mar 2014
Interview
Two guys in suits interviewed me. They were well dressed and seemed to have good knowledge of their industry. In talking to them I learned about how much more I had to learn. I also learned that if you want the job you would be better off living in New York City as opposed to coming from some small city.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Mumbai) in Aug 2015
Interview
Received a call from the agency (providing third party payroll candidates to the company).
After resume shortlisted by the reporting managers, was called for personal interview at their office.
Interviewers were interested mostly in my previous experience and academic background.
General HR level questionnaires.
Video Conferencing round was the last step in the process with on shore and off shore managers, no technical questions were asked.
Even at this stage I wasn't provided with any clarity of what my job role would be.
Within 2 days time received a call by agency about my selection for the role.
