Interview
I contacted the local branch manager multiple times and never got a response. So one day, while is was in the area, i walked in as a potential client and spoke to the Assistant Branch Manager. In the end, i revealed that i was looking for an internship. The Assistant Branch Manager referred me to the Branch Manager and asked my to email him directly. I emailed the Branch manager and got an interview within the week. Very down to earth and stressful. Grabbed a cup of coffee and discussed the position and myself.

Business Dev Manager will call for phone interview, and have you fill out a worksheet that will describe your network, and how you intend on building your book of business. This will be the determining factor of whether you get the in person interview.
In person is fairly easy, as you go through your network of contacts and discuss your approach strategy. If you get along well with the manager a personalities mesh well, you will most likely get the offer. As with most sales based positions, its more about your personality and network than past experience, although past sales experience will help, especially if its high volume or high net worth clientele.
