The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Paychex in Jul 2009
Interview
A recruiter contacted me and we scheduled a quick phone interview. The questions were pretty basic as in the reasons I was looking to leave and background of the company and position were available. The first interview consisted of a meeting with HR to complete an application, personality test, and math test, along with completing documentation for a background check. I was called back to meet with two supervisors one questioned me while the other wrote everything down. I also met with the branch manger/operations managers.

Question 1
How well do you handle stress and what ways do you cope with stress?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex in Jan 2010
Interview
I got the feeling they micro-manage your every move, which is not the kind of environment I do well in. My last interview was with a Manager from another region. He asked me about my work experience (I've been in outsides sales for 15 years) and then decided he should focus his questions on my college years. He asked me why I only had a 3.2 GPA when I graduated from college (this was 23 years ago). This was the point that I knew this was probably the wrong job for me.

Question 1
Why did you have a 3.2 GPA in college (23 years ago)?
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paychex (Boston, MA) in May 2011
Interview
A few hours after the interview I received a call from someone in HR. She was just screening for the amount of pay/salary I was looking for. She asked about the recent employer listed on my resume and asked for recent salary. She then focused on the position prior and that salary.
She then emphasized that the rate for this job is $15/hour which is generally 6-8 less than my most recent full time position that included benefits. She then went on to stress that they include benefits as well and that should make up the difference in pay.
She expressed no concern about any skills that I may have.
