Tell us about yourself? It was a process, typically ended up being about 5 to 6 even seven interviews sometimes and that is no joke. Expect at least four if you’re going in for an entry-level job at least
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Paychex (Rochester, NY)
Interview
It was just me & the interviewer. She asked me questions & then I got to ask questions at the end. It was really hard questions. The interview lasted about 45 min. I was really nervous & I told her I haven’t interviewed in 9 years.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Paychex (Albuquerque, NM) in Mar 2019
Interview
It went from a phone interview to a face-to-face interview with 2 supervisors. The supervisors did not seem to take the interview seriously. When I answered questions, they would interrupt during my answer and ask to elaborate. You then get to sit with someone in that position for 15 minutes and ask them questions. They don't tell you much of anything. It took a little over an hour and they asked you about 5 questions. Some questions were very difficult to answer if you haven't had any experience with payroll.
