Interview
First I had a phone interview, then I had a video interview. Both guys seemed great and very personable, outlined very clear next steps. Never got any follow up from them after sending a thank you email. I had to login to the candidate website to see I was not selected. Disappointing when a reputable company ghosts you.

Interview
BAIT AND SWITCH, EPITOME OF WHAT'S WRONG WITH CORPS TODAY WHEN TRYING TO FIND A JOB. Applied through Linkedin for a sales rep position, recruiter called me within the hour, never a good sign lol. Typical recruiter guy, overly energetic, didn't listen to a word I said, just continued to go "riiight right, yes oh wow uh-huh yeah! Grrreeat, hey listen..." Told me I'd be perfect for the role (lol) but had 3 other guys interviewing, but I'm BY FAR his favorite (lol). Told him right away I'm not interested in cold-calling or door-knocking, and if he thinks that's what I'll be primarily doing, no problem, just let me know so I don't waste his time or him, mine. To which he says great, no problem, not part of the job, they get fresh leads though inquiries online. He calls me at 8am the morning of the interview, literally says "Hey good morning hows my champ doin????" (lol, what a nut) Then tells me he followed up with the hiring manager and confirmed that the role would not include cold calling. Interview starts with hiring manager and off-rip she says "You know this is an outside sales position with primarily cold-calling and going to business to earn business right?" WTF. Explains they kept the job description vague intentionally to source better candidates. Admitted to bait and switch. Stuck out the interview, did my best, thought I did well. Recruiter calls me afterwords and tells me hiring manager loved me and would be in touch after the other guys interview. Never heard from again. The end. Waste of time, recruiter is a loser, hiring manager was rude, bait and switch, what a bummer.

Question 1
Just generic interview stuff, what's my work history, tell me about yourself, blah blah, what's a time you took initiative to bridge a gap between blah blah corporate jargon bull****, interview process made me want to bore a hole in my brain.
Thorough, fair, back and forth dialogue. We both got what was needed and that I was overqualified for position. I was able to refer recruiter other candidates so valuable time spent
