I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Provo, UT) in Jan 2014
Interview
long and tiring. Interviewed over the phone and in person with 6 different people. Every manager who interviews you MUST recommend you to senior leadership, and then even if they all recommend you, senior leadership has to agree to hire you. They can veto your application even if everyone else recommends you.
I applied online. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Dublín, Dublín) in Jan 2016
Interview
First contact was one initial Qualifying call. Told to come in for 1:1 Interview with HR. Very informal friendly interview. Got a tour of the large office space and unique working conditions. Interview was brief (20mins) with some basic questions qualifying the candidate for the job. Didn't get enough of a chance to answer several questions fully as interviewer quickly moved through and was perhaps under time pressure.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Qualtrics in Aug 2015
Interview
From what I have seen from glassdoor, it looks like they do the beginning of the interviews quite differently. For me, it began with a phone interview for 15 minutes, and then progressed to 2 video interviews. The first video interview was intense and designed to let you know how much cold calling you'd be doing. The second interview is designed to be a much more conversational, but I believe it is as important because they are looking to see your personality.
