I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
SLP interview applications were collected online and through the university. My resume was handed to the recruiter by the recommendation of a professor, so I was selected for an interview.
The recruiter emailed me back pretty quickly and scheduled a telephone interview for the following week or so. For the RSM SLP, they know that students don't have that much experience, so they just want to get a better idea of what the interviewee is like as a person. SLPs are unpaid but are a good way for RSM to scout and pick out good candidates early on in a student's career. Anyone with an outgoing or independent perspective in life will probably do well in terms of getting into an SLP.

Interview
The interview process was good. There was an on campus interview and then a in office interview. Met with people i'd be working with. Very friendly people and great work environment.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (Des Moines, IA) in Sep 2018
Interview
Very relaxed setting. Campus Interview with partner. Walked through resume and asked questions regarding my experiences. Did not examine any behavioral questions or ask about leadership qualities. It simply felt like they wanted to get to know I was and if I would be a good fit at their organization.
