It was a great interview with a manager from the nearest office. It was basically just a conversation. He looked at my resume and just asked me a few questions about a few of my experiences in college such as study abroad, extra-curriculars, and internships.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During your internship, what was an experience that you had where you had to unexpectedly step into a leadership role?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at RSM (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
On campus interview. Then interviews in the office. You meet in the morning at a conference room with the HR people. Following a light breakfast, you are interviewed by 1 partner and 1 manager and then have lunch with the other people interviewed and some RSM employees. Interview was mainly conversational so you just need to make small talk for a half hour. My guess they just want to see if you aren't a creep and people wouldn't mind working next to you for 60+ hours a week.
I applied online. I interviewed at RSM in Feb 2017
Interview
It was very professional. Applied through their website, and the interview process was 3 rounds in total.
Round 1: 30 min call with their recruiter talking about the role and my professional experiences.
Round 2: 30 min phone interview with a manager, similar to the last call, talked about the role and my experiences as well as behavioral questions.
Round 3: Interview with 2 partners. Very professional and relaxed interview.
