I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RSM
Interview
Very relaxed and laid back interview. 30 min interview with manager, then 30 min interview with partner. Most questions are behavioral questions. Nothing too serious. The partner and manager both really want to see if you are a fit for the company work environment and clients.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (Irvine, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Went through on-campus interviews, and invited back for an in-house interview. On campus interview was with a senior manager, and was pretty laid back and conversational. In-house interview was 3 back to back interviews with either a senior manager or partner at the firm. After the interviews, there was a lunch at a nearby restaurant with all the interviewees and a couple of the newer associates and senior associates.
Thought the interview went well overall, but never heard back anything from HR, not even a rejection email. In my opinion, it was pretty unprofessional reflected poorly on the firm to bring someone in for on-campus and in-office interviews, and not even bother giving them an email back regarding their decision. All other firms I had interviewed with during this process were able to give me a call or email back regarding their decision, and though the process did not work out smoothly for me at RSM, I was able to accept an offer elsewhere.

Interview
I had applied through my school's career center and had met the firm through the school's Career Fair. I hit it off with the recruiter and a manager there and eventually was notified they wanted me for an interview. The interview was about 30 minutes where the manager and I talked about accounting as a whole and he even gave me advice about future interviews. The second interview is from about 9am-2pm. I had back to back hour interviews with a partner then had lunch with with current associates.
