Interview
After 2 phone interviews, I was brought in for a half day “Power Day.” Anyone who rates Rivian interviews as “easy” must be applying through a contractor. Contractors do not have to go through the power day that direct placements do. I know this firsthand from a contract company who does placements with them. My Power day was interesting, informative and long. I figured since I made it this far I was doing pretty good as they said they are usually pretty confident in the people they bring in for power days. For me this did not turn out to be the case. After my power day, I didn’t hear anything. Even after 3 separate attempts to follow up with them, no one was getting back to me by phone or even replying to emails. Finally after 18 days I got a response to my last email which said they have decided to move forward with another candidate. They did tell me they thought I had great experience and they would like to keep my resume on file for future opportunities, but I think after the disrespect of my time and failure to respond in a timely manner to my inquiries, I’m not sure I would consider a future opening. The benefits and perks look great at this place but it seems like it may be difficult to keep them and remain competitive in the automotive market.

Interview
The interview was very basic asking questions about my past experience. Received no call back or response after the interview even though it has been around 2 months. Not the right way to treat candidates
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rivian (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied online. One strategy analyst from Rivian contacted me and scheduled an phone interview with me. Before I formally participate in the interview, the interviewer cancelled my original phone interview because he 'would have a meeting at that time', which makes me feel a little bit ignored.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
At the beginning, I was requested to make a self-introduction. The interviewer introduced himself and the company. Then Q&A. The whole procedure was...not professional enough.
