The hiring process at Rivian takes an average of 7 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. So far, the interview process seems very straightforward. I first had a short interview over the phone, and from there was invited to an in-person interview that will last around four interviews. The communication has been great so far, and I'm hoping for a good outcome!
The recruiter did not show up at the scheduled time, and I did not receive an email to reschedule. Hope Rivian can take it seriously since it is the first touchpoint between the interviewee and the company, it gives the interviewee a bad impression.
I applied online. I interviewed at Rivian in May 2026
Interview
I applied and received an email from the Director of TA at 9PM one night, asking to get on a call the next day or early next week. I replied I was free to chat the next day. We had a 45 minute phone call, that I thought went really well. He asked some good questions and I was confident in my answers given my experience. He seemed really excited about me as a candidate and said he had a few more calls early the following week but would get back to me by Tuesday of the next week. Tuesday came and went with no update. I reached out Thursday morning following up, and still haven't received a response, a few weeks later. I know they are busy, but pretty disappointed in the experience. It makes it worse that I am in the TA space so I know a rejection email is the bare minimum, especially after having an interview.
