Interviewed with the recruiter to go over the overall position and team structure. I then interviewed with the other team member on the team. After a few weeks I was asked to interview in a panel and it took about 4 hours because it was one call after an other. Ultimately, it took about a month later to find out that I did not get the position. I had to follow up.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Rivian
Interview
Met with recruiter first - very friendly, straightforward, and helpful with understanding the scope of the role. We discussed a potential relocation as job would require working from California. Then met with hiring manager for a technical interview - nothing crazy, just going over your background, experiences, what you’re looking to get out of working at Rivian - very friendly and professional call. Was then followed up by a day full of panel + 1:1 half hour conversations with each team member of same or different disciplines. Finally, last interview was with the director of engineering - some technical thought exercise was done, if you know your stuff it should be fairly straightforward. This was finally followed by a verbal offer - the written offer was expected to be 2 weeks out as it goes through a whole approval loop. The whole process in all from initial recruiter call to written offer was about 3 months long.
