Particularly unpleasant candidate experience (France).
Deplorable organization: at 6pm, receptionist is already left, security officer manages visitors reception. In my case I spent 20 minutes waiting for the interviewer, as security officer didn’t have a right number and was not able to reach out the interviewer. The recruiter was out and his number did not answer. I also sent a mail to the interviewer (People Business Partner) and the recruiter in order to inform them that I was here. Unfortunately it didn’t help either.
20 minutes later I got a call from the People Business Partner blaming me for being late.
During the interview the People Business Partner first answered calls of her children and discussed «choir classes issues» in front of me, after she got another call and left the meeting room in the middle of the conversation.
I did not receive any apology for the interview organization/ inconvenience during the interview and never got any feedback.

Recruiter reached out quickly for a screening interview 2 days after applying. After speaking with the recruiter and being screened for salary, I was scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. After speaking with the hiring manager, I was scheduled to speak with a peer-type interview (similar position on a different team). I thought the 3rd interview went well too, but then I never heard back. It's been 4 weeks and my candidacy is still active in their system yet they've gone silent. I've already accepted another job elsewhere and it will be interesting to see if Sage ever responds.

Interview
I applied to the role on the Sage website - Michael, the internal recruiter, got in touch with me the next day to discuss the opportunity & was very patient with me whilst I was navigating when to apply for my ideal start date.
When I was ready, Michael quickly set up my 1st interview which included a presentation and was so helpful and supportive throughout the process (I am a massive over-thinker, so it really helped to have a calming voice!)
Within 2 days of the 1st interview, Michael had arranged my 2nd interview & got an offer to me within a couple of hours of completing that!
I spoke with 3 interviewers in total - Head of Sales, Head of Training & Sales Manager (who I will be reporting into) - all of whom were SO nice on my interviews & really put me at ease.
I couldn't recommend the process more - it was quick, required a suitable level of research into the business and was a great blend of informal and formal interview style.
