Applied for Batch 2 of the GLP based in Jakarta, Indonesia through website. One month later attended the first round: the Written Assessment. Test was divided into 3 sections: a general Logical Reasoning/IQ test and two numerical tests in two different formats, Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency (similar to GMAT). Approximate time was 90 minutes to complete everything. Two and a half weeks later attended the second round, which was the Group Discussion and HR Interview. It was more of an entire day of networking, presentations and interview with upper management of the company. For this round, around 120 candidates were present. Group Discussion was relatively easy as it was meant to evaluate how you work with others. HR Interview was a lot of fun and it gives the opportunities to show who you are outside your CV/resume. Two weeks later made it to the third round, the Case Interview round. Interview style similar to what you'll find in consulting firms, albeit McKinsey & Company style instead of BCG. Interviewers asked more questions instead of pushing you to ask questions. Relatively easy. Two weeks later received an invitation to attend the Final Round, which is a Group Case Study with the senior management of the company from both Indonesia and Singapore. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw due to the lengthy public holiday (Lebaran) in Indonesia, which forced the company to push the interview back by one month. By then, I received another job offer. Interview process could've been made shorter and more efficient.

The whole interview process was extremely messy and unprofessional. - First round interview is divided into 3 smaller parts: 1A, 1B, and 1C. After passing 1A and 1B, they treated with lunch, which was great. However, after that, all candidates were literally forced to wait for up to 4 hours just for a 5~15 minute HR interview. Some candidates will only have to wait for less than 5 minutes and the others can wait up to 4 hours. LITERALLY they called people on randomly and other candidates just casually waited at the location for their turn. EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Next time, divide candidates into time frames so candidates would not have to wait literally 4 hours. - Second round interview is a case-based round. Candidates are divided into 2 groups: morning and afternoon. The case is literally the same no matter when you were interviewed. Thus, the cases were leaked, and afternoon candidates (ALL of them knew the cases beforehand) had a huge advantage against morning candidates. More remarkably, interviewers were literally looking at their phone every 2 minutes during interviewing a candidate, and this came from every candidates I spoke with, Again, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. - Last round interview was a group case round. Again, the interviewers were looking at their phones constantly every minute and hardly paid attention to candidates. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND interview for such an unprofessional company.
