SoftwareOne Account Manager interview questions

One of the better interview processes I've had the chance to go through. Spoke with several employees in and around my team, very friendly. Recruiters are communicating frequently and complete tasks quickly. Panel interview was relaxing and the interviewers were engaged and provided great feedback. Got an offer within 2 weeks of interviewing.

I was contacted proactively by SoftwareOne to join their team. I researched the company and agreed to the hour long call. We agreed on the next steps and 2 months later I got a message saying they had hired someone else but would like to keep me in mind for future roles... This is not how to treat candidates and left a terrible impression.
