Interview

Phone pre-screen, phone interview, in person interview. Phone prescreen was basic. The recruiter gave some great advice. If you listen to what she tells you to do and research the company you will be prepared to deliver an excellent interview for the next process. During in person interview show who you really are and what your values are. They want a person that can represent their mission and values statement everyday in their stores.

Interview

The process was fairly straight forward. I had two interviews, one with a panel of Recruiters and District Managers, then one-on-one with a District Manager. Almost all the panel questions where about culture and work ethics.

Interview

I met with the District Manager and another Store Manager who conducted the interview. The interview took place at a store. They offered me a beverage. We sat outside at one of the tables in front of the store. The District Manager introduced herself, and then the store manager. The DM said that the SM would conduct the interview, and she would ask additional questions. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and congenial.

Tell me about a time that you were challenged to finish an assigned task within a given amount of time, and you were interrupted by a customer who asked for assistance. How did you handle the interruption and what was the result of the interruption (i.e. Did the the work get completed on time, who helped the customer, did their question get answered to their satisfaction)?
