I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Montreal, QC) in Jun 2013
Interview
There were 3 steps to my interview.
1. An online thing to ensure you knew the basics and weren't wasting time.
2. Phone Interview; simple questions about customer service.
3. In person rehash of the phone interview, but more in depth.
Overall a normal interview in each case. I'm sure the interviewer has heard it all before, just stay positive and don't mumble out your answers or be falsely modest.

Question 1
Describe a time you had a difficult customer, what was the situation, and how did you resolve it.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Starbucks in Mar 2015
Interview
Applied on line, got a call the next day to set up a phone interview the following week. They called right on time. Spoke to a recruiter for about 30 minutes. Got invited to do the Virtual Job Try Out, and was scheduled a follow up interview for the Friday morning. Friday was a series of Behavioural questions, where they asked about specific situations and how you handled them. They are looking for Situation, Action, Result. At that interview I was advised that my next step was a meeting with a District Manager. They emailed all the information promptly. Very professional. I went to the interview, which was successful. I'm now just waiting for an offer.
