      Systems Analyst Interview

      Sep 2, 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Englewood, CO
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 5 days. I interviewed at TTEC (Englewood, CO) in Jul 2010

      Interview

HR recruiter was efficient in setting up interviews, but was not able to answer some basic questions I had about the job requirements. I had a phone interview with the HR recruiter, and then interviewed with 3 indiviuduals, separately but on the same day so that was convenient. The first interview was with the direct/hiring manager and he asked questions that were intended to make sure my skills and experience were appropriate for the job I was interviewing for. The 2nd and 3rd interviews, one with a person who performed the same job I was interviewing for, and one with a director-level person, were aimed at making sure I was a good fit from a personality standpoint. The office is beautiful with clean, modern furnishings. The corporate dress code is typical - no jeans except on Fridays, and the people who interviewed me were dressed professionally - dress pants/skirts with shirts - no suits or ties. For interviewing attire - women and men should definitely wear a suit. This company is all about getting maximum effort out of "lean" teams, so emphasize your ability to get a lot of work done, your ability to multi-task, and emphasize your desire to work for a multi-national company.

      Systems Analyst Interview

      Dec 14, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at TTEC

      Interview

Job seekers - If you're contacted by some one at TTEC - watch out. They've texted me probably 6 times asking if I want to be an admin assistant/receptionist/customer support person. I've repeatedly told them no and what I do. They "interviewed" me by sending a bunch of emails. Never gave me a true job description, but said I'd be told to do once I was hired. This guy asked some really weird questions that I've never heard asked before. He also didn't type English very well, at all. I had to read several things 3-4 times to get what he meant. One other point that I thought was unusual - the hiring manager was using a gmail account. Way to unusual for me. Can you say 'SCAM'?

Thank you for sharing this experience; unfortunately there are fraudulent entities on the internet which pose as TTEC in an effort to take advantage of job seekers. TTEC recruiters and talent acquisition professionals will always correspond with candidates using a ttec.com email address, will never use Google Hangouts or a Gmail address, and will always provide job descriptions as provided by our jobs website, ttecjobs.com.
