I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2014
Interview
Got information and networked at the Career fair with the recruiters. Then had to apply online - have to fill out different things and take a test. Then had a phone interview after applying on the website - gained lots of good information. Then had a personal interview with the district manager.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Both interviews were over the phone.
The first interview was logistical. Asked why I was interested in retail and my experience from my resume. Then the interviewer asks "tell me about a time.." questions (about 5). After, I was told I had another interview
The second interview was mainly "tell me about a time..." questions.
I did not get offered any more interviews after that one.

Tell me about a time when you and a professional other disagreed.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2013
Interview
5 week process. One phone interview, One interview at office, hired soon after. Have to take a drug test with in 24 hours of being offered the position, but usually works out okay. There is not much communication between the time of your offer and your first day of work. Job responsibilities are not learned in an interview...those are learned through the internship itself.
