I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Bangor, ME) in Oct 2011
Interview
The application process was a basic kiosk. The interview process was quick and easy if you don't do drugs/can avoid drugs long enough to pass a drug screening and can come across as a responsible and motivated individual. My interview took a total of 5 minutes, and the questions were mostly directly related to the job at hand. There were no "If you were a fork, what color would you be and why?" questions.

Question 1
What are your goals at Target?
Will you come to work on time?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Oshkosh, WI) in Jun 2015
Interview
The interview process is very standard. You will have one interview with the manager of the dept. you're applying for and if they think you will be a good fit you will get a second interview, generally that same day. They don't try and stump you, mainly just try and figure out your personality.

Question 1
Tell us about a time that you got in a disagreement with a coworker. How did you resolve it and what were the results?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview process is relatively simple. I had a phone screening before I had an in person interview. They ask questions about your prior job experience mixed in with some behavioral interview questions in both the phone screen and the in person interview.. Their was only one interview and I was hired on the spot. I don't not know if that is the typical process but that was my experience.
