Question 1
The name of the game is servicing the guests. Be yourself and answer questions with the customer in mind.
I applied online on a Tuesday, and got called a few hours later to schedule an interview for the next day, Wednesday. However, I couldn't make it to the Wednesday interview and scheduled it for Friday morning instead. When I walked into Target, I was required to do a questionnaire. After that, I told them I was finished, and I was directed to go upstairs. I had 2 interviews right after another, the first with the head of cashiers, 2nd with someone who was a little higher in management rank. Before the 1st interview, between the two interviews, and after the 2nd, I was asked to wait in the break room, which I did. While I was in the break room I was able to talk to some current employees who were all very nice. As I was waiting after the 2nd, someone from HR told me that I'd be called in a couple days for notification of if I got the job or not, because they have to compare all the applications. Overall, a good experience. But after reading many reviews on this website, it seems that the people who did get the job, got hired on the spot.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were all pretty straightforward questions. Why Target, strengths and weaknesses, when you exceeded expectations, when you made a mistake/what was the solution, and then some situational questions. The two interviews had identical beginning questions, but the situational questions were a bit different.
