Tesco Customer Assistant interview questions

This was a group interview. Candidates were given a sheet of paper each with a desert island scenario and the interviewers asked someone to read it out. As someone who volunteered to read it out to everyone when the others all shook their heads and refused, this impressed the interviewers. There was a list of 20 items and only 5 could be chosen to use on a desert island. The group had to have a 15 - 20 minute discussion of what these items should be. After that, copies of everyone's passports and National Insurance cards were made whilst the candidates filled out a basic application form to let staff know the best shifts to work.

Had an interview with standard questions. The interviewer was quite relaxed and casual. We spoke about different jobs available within the store. I was only interested in the role I had applied for however they offered me a job that was completely different - I rejected it until they offered me the job I had actually applied and interviewed for.
