I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2017
Interview
Applied online, received a text a few days later notifying me to come in for an interview with proof of work.
Multiple candidates, asked to build a paper tower then each of us had to answer a few of the same questions each. Relaxed and friendly environment.
Split up and sent out to the work floor to work with a department for a while and called back in later for an individual interview. Asked about me and my availability across the working week. Everything seemed OK so I was given the job offer on the spot.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tesco (Glasgow, Escocia) in Apr 2013
Interview
Interesting. A lot of people waiting for the process of interview and everybody was quite nervous but we did our best and finally somebody was called for the position. It was a learning process I would like to repeat cause I think give me a lot of experience and knowledge to face the next interviews.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Glasgow, Escocia)
Interview
Applied online then after about two weeks got a call from a manger inviting to an interview. The whole process from application online to induction took a little over a month.
I was nervous but the interview turned out to be better than I expected. You just have to come with a positive attitude and be active. Be yourself but try to naturally stand out by being a leader and showing interest in the job and showing positive attitude and determination. It was a group interview with 4 other people.
We checked in and waited in the staff kitchen for all the candidates then the managers took us separately for an individual interview and asked regular competence questions and about experience, preferred job and we filled in availability sheets. Even if you've not dealt with the situation in the question , make one up just make it believable because they can give you follow up questions. Make one up and show your focus towards customers.
The best practice would be to prepare answers before hand from the example questions people leave here.
Got a job as a Customer Assistant - Replenishment for the same amount of hours I applied.
