I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Aberystwyth, Gales) in Oct 2016
Interview
There were three sections. The first was an individual interview, that lasted around ten minutes. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and put me at ease straight away. After that I did a role play where a customer wanted an item that was out of stock and I had to say what I would do to help them. Then there was a group exercise where we had to choose who to survive a sinking boat on an island. Entire process lasted about 1 and a half hours. I've just heard back on the 15th November, so from applying to hearing back (negatively, unfortunately) entire thing took way too long in my opinion, especially since they told me 7-10 days.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Tesco (Colchester, England) in Oct 2016
Interview
I was called on very short notice to attend a group interview. It wasn't very formal and there was quite a lot of waiting around in the break room. They told us (individually) the salary, filled out some paperwork and asked some questions. We then did a team building exercise before we were asked to go onto the shop floor and hand out cookie samples (which was the worst part, customers were not very friendly). The process took around an hour/ hour and a half.

Interview
Very laid back, no less than an hour long. Was a group interview with 3 other people where we got asked questions about ourselves. The group was then split up to answer questions to the different managers.
