I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Alloa, Scotland) in Jul 2016
Interview
Asked questions one by one, then instructed to build a 6 ft, free standing tower that was aesthetically pleasing out of a pile of paper, a half full stapler, some masking tape and some pencils. After this the group was split into twos, i was taking to the shop floor and told to put out some wine on the shelves. I put out two cases and was then taken back up to the interview room to fill in some health forms. Then they took us for individual interviews and asked some more questions about specific circumstances.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Aug 2016
Interview
I attended a 1 on 1 interview and was asked 5 questions. The lady who interviewed me was very nice and made me feel at ease. In addition to the questions she asked me to fill in a health form and a time available form. She also photocopied my Passport and my proof of NI number. I had no previous experience in Retail but this wasn't a problem at all. They are just looking for friendly people who have a smile and are willing to work hard.

Interview
Applied on 21st July, got a call about a week later asking me to attend a group interview on the 2nd August. Went along, there was 5 of us in total with two women interviewing us. Lasted just over 2 hours. Really lovely, relaxed, friendly experience. Had to construct tower out of paper to test group skills. Asked a couple of questions in front of the other candidates. Then half of us went to have a one to one interview which was more like a friendly chat about hours available and places you'd like to work. Other half went helping customers bag their items on checkouts. Then we all swapped.
Really great experience. Interview was on Tuesday, they called offering me a job on Friday afternoon.
