I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tesco (Budapest) in Sep 2023
Interview
I had 3+1 rounds:
HR interview
Manager round about general topic, soft skills.
Coding round, I used java to resolve a problem.
Software design/architect round to design a microservice.
Overal it was good, but I mad mistakes, it was my first interview after some years, so I was giving partially good answers, because I was stressed a little.
I didn't got offer as I expected, but I had to wait almoust a month for the answer.

Question 1
A coding session with some regexp usage and to desing a service architecture
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Welwyn Garden City, Inglaterra)
Interview
A series of technical questions followed by an architectural discussion. This tended to be a bt of back and forth. Be prepared for the fact that the person interviewing you might have less experience and will need careful ego management.

Question 1
Describe the architecture of the last system you worked on.
I’m completely confused of this interview. Was only on behavioral. First of all interviewer told me I can interrupt him if I need. I did it few times only when I thought he finished, and when was wrong I apologized. So in result he complained in feedback on my interruption The second thing - he did ask me about my experience 10 years ago, when I was junior, and I tell what on that project I didn’t do any design/architecture decisions and somehow he translate it on my current skillset 🤯 Very abstract unclear questions and in result notes in feedback that doesn’t match my current situation. In result they suggest me mid position 🤦♂️ Unclear assessment criteria, and told me that I don’t have experience in things, what usually their seniors does, that is completely wrong conclusion in prospective of my experience Completely awful interview experience
