I applied online. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Bellshill, Scotland) in Mar 2022
Interview
It was a formal meeting. The questions were all relevant to the post and they made sure to only ask me questions to gage what type of worker I was, they don't not try to trip me up. Were very welcoming.

Q. what would you do if you went to collect a youth and they didn't want to come out with you?
Interview process was professional and relaxed. Required 3 references. Many scenario based questions in regards to potential/ realistic situations that arise in this sort of position. I interviewed with the centre supervisor.

Question 1
What kind of activities would you plan for kids if they could not go outside due to the weather?
It was very hard. I couldn’t focus. A lot of press was on me. I do not recommend at all. Do not apply here if you value your time. They didn’t give any instructions.
