I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Air Force in May 2010
Interview
Not really an interview. You go to a recruiter and get set up with an ASVAB test date provided you are in decent shape and are not a criminal or drug addict. After you take the test you can see what jobs you qualify for then it's off to your local MEPS station to process and ship off to basic training.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Air Force (Muskogee, OK) in Apr 2010
Interview
Recruited out of high school, didn't have to go through an interview or hiring process, per se'. It was more of an "applied for job, qualified via ASVAB, passed background check, signed for job, left for basic/techschool training.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at US Air Force
Interview
Apply for ROTC scholarship in high school. Go for a very long and detailed interview. Find out a month or two later that you are accepted. Also get accepted to college. Do 4 years worth of ROTC classes and leadership labs in college. Graduate with a reasonably good gpa. Get selected for navigator training. Go to navigator training for a year and a half. Then on to primary weapons system training for 6 months. Then squadron training for another few months. Then presto! You're a navigator.

I don't recall. Maybe "have you checked into Army ROTC? Why not?"
