Applied through OPM, 90 days before I received an interview, 2 2eeks after the interview was offered the position. On boarding process can be improved by the HR Department.

First thing you have to do is to visit local recruiting station and find a recruiter you want to work with. He/She will tell you what documentations you will need and fill out. Once you complete everything, you will then proceed to go to the MEPS to determine whether or not you are qualified to be in service by going through ASVAB test and medical examinations. Once everything done and you are qualified to join, then you choose your MOS and sign your contract.
