Take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB) and see what you qualify for mentally, then do a physical at MEPS to choose what you qualify for physically also. Recruiter asks if you have done drugs or are currently using and if you have a criminal history.

Interview
The interview process starts with a computer resume word count search 20 words first round then 40 to make the top 5 list of most qualified. The office chief calls everyone to get a feel of knowledge and personality for best office fit. Being an army civilian is not for everyone. It takes commitment and an open mind.

It is based on test scores. The high you score the more job options you have. Depending on the job you pick you might need a security clearance and that process was harder than the job selection.
