I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Racine, WI)
Interview
Quick, the military recruiters are required to recruit. The military has a need to fill required vacancies. There was no surprise that the hiring process was very rushed. I met with the recruiter one day, took the ASVAB the next day, and was sent to the Military Entrance and Processing Station (MEPs) a week later. I had absolutely no concern on being hired.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Army (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2011
Interview
Easy just show up and have the minimum requirements. There was no interview but there is a background check and drug test you have to pass prior. You also have to take a basic knowledge test to find out if you are qualified for the more technical jobs.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Fort Lewis, VA) in May 2013
Interview
The hiring process is outlined, but do not think that is the way it goes. You can do all the thing you are supposed to do, and so them well, but if you do not already have the connection or know some one... you will get no where in the profession of arms.
